Living the LCHF lifestyle

IMG_1752Living the LCHF lifestyle basically means eating less carbohydrates, combined with eating a higher proportion of fat. To cut down in carbohydrates it is essential to minimise the intake of sugar and starches, which the body through years of evolution is not designed to eat. Instead of feeling satisfied on food rich on carbohydrates; real, natural and delicious foods, rich on natural fat contents give a long lasting feeling of satiety.

There are no animals in their natural environment who need support of calorie charts or nutritional expertise to eat. As long as they eat the food they are designed to eat they stay at a normal weight without suffering from e.g. diabetes, heart disease and caries. Why would I be an exception?

My weight improved by switching to the LCHF lifestyle – my blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol profile (HDL, triglycerides) also improved. I experience a calm stomach and less cravings for sweet food – still having a comfortable feeling of satiety.

LCHF has made it easier for me both to control my blood sugar and to lose weight. The basic LCHF food gives healthy and natural weight loss without hunger.
